A SAFE CAT SANCTUARY

Purrfect Pause is a cat themed relaxation center, boutique, cafe, and cat sanctuary located in Boulder, CO.

Cat lovers of all kinds will enjoy Purrfect Pause! We have the ability to offer a cage free environments for adoptable cats. Our unique environment allows a more intimate experience for individuals looking to adopt a cat. Since our cats are not locked in cages, visitors can get a better perspective of our cats personalities!

WHAT IS A CAT CAFE?

It’s simple. A cat cafe is a combination of all things good; cats, coffee, and a relaxing cafe environment. You can relax and pet cats, and it’s great socialization for them too! The cats are adoptable, which means if you fall in love, you can apply to take them home! A cat cafe is perfect for cat lovers who need a feline fix. Whether you can't have cats at home, or you've already got some and are looking for more, we've always got great cats here!

We are partnered with Front Range Freedom Rescue and act as a foster space for adoptable cats! All adoptions are handled by Front Range Freedom Rescue.

OUR STORY

TAKE A PURRFECT PAUSE

Perfect Pause Cat Cafe was founded by Aleks Talaro (he/they) in May 2022. As a life-long cat lover, Aleks has always wanted to find a way to work with cats since they have been a constant source of joy, love, laughter, and support throughout the adversities his of life. Aleks was inspired by cat cafes around the world and within this country. Growing up with their entrepreneurial mother, Susanne (she/her), he knew they wanted to run their own business. Now Aleks and Susanne combine their strengths to bring Boulder’s first cat cafe to life. 

Purrfect Pause is about helping cats and people. Cats are the ultimate antidepressant, and here at Purrfect Pause we strive to create a unique, relaxing, and cozy environment for people to get some therapurry and help these sweet cats find their furrever home. The world is crazy and it’s easy to forget self care; so take a pause with paws, a Purrfect Pause.
